So What Are Your Plans?

Anyone have special plans for Christmas? Whose travling this year?

We'll be going to Atlanta to have Christmas with my daughter, Dylan, Samantha and Steve. We leave on December 20th and return on the 30th, give or take a day or two.

Lot's going on in Atlanta during Christmas. Centennial Park has a beautiful Christmas display, including a live Nativity Scene.

It's always cold in Atlanta so we're packing warm clothes. May we'll even get to see snow.

One of these years, I'm hoping to spend Christmas In New York. St. Patricks Cathedfral, Radio City, Macy's, Rockefeller Center, a ride in a horse drawn cart around Central Park with the aroma of Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire on each corner. Those are my memories of Christmas in New York.

It's Christmas in New York
The memories come rushing back
I see a man in a red suit
And over his shoulder a bulging sack

The traditional trip to Macy's windows
Those moving figures which sang and danced
With children's eyes wide open
In utter amazement they glanced

It's off to Rockefeller Center
All aglow...a 90 foot tree
And all around the ice skating rink
People frolic with glee

A ride thru Central Park
Upon a horse-drawn cart
Two lovers cuddle close
And give each other their heart

Saint Patrick's Cathedral please
You instruct a Cabby for hire
And on every corner the aroma
Of chestnuts roasting on an open fire

Now it's time for the big show
At Radio City Music Hall
Waiting on line you shiver and chatter
As the snow begins to fall

These are the memories
Of Christmas In New York
Embedded deep within my mind
Of which I'll always squawk

Our plans are to be home in this house for the holiday's.

:)Will be going to my daughters for Christmas right here in Northwest Indiana. Were going to go to New York, but we were already there a month or so ago. Maybe next year.

The kids will be here for both Christmas Eve and day

I'll be leaving here on the 19th for CT and will return home on Jan.1st. It should be great, looking forward to it and seeing my other grandchildren.

WE WILL BE GOING TO "CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA"
FOR A FEW DAY'S IN DECEMBER. TO MEET OUR FRIENDS FROM ROCKLAND COUNTY. ON THE WAY HOME WE WILL STOP OFF IN "SAVANNAH" FOR A LATE LUNCH.
